Let’s get you started…

By the end of these short instructions, you’ll have your own website up and running.

  • Sign up for hosting.
    • Click the link at the top of this page labeled “Hosting”.
    • Choose your prefered feature set and click “Buy Plan”.
    • Select the features you want and proceed through checkout.
  • Pick a domain.
    • If you already have a domain, you may use your current provider or transfer it to us. We can only manually configure DNS records for domains purchased through our site, but we’ll be happy to advise the best practices even if your domain registrar is someone else.
Help me get a domain (like www.yourwebpage.com):
  • At the top of this page, click “Domains”.
  • Use the search to find a URL you’d like to own.
  • Click “Buy Now” and continue through the checkout process.
To transfer an existing domain:
  • At the top of this page, click “Domains”.
  • Scroll down and click “Transfer Domain to ElectroSuite”.
  • Fill in the form and click Submit.
  • Check your email for further instructions.
If you have a domain, but would like to stay with your current registrar:
  • In that case, continue to the next step.
    • Please be aware, while we can give general advise, we are not able to manually help configure DNS settings from another service provider.
  • Log into your admin panel.
    • Go to the email you entered to check your messages.
    • There should be a new email called “Welcome to ElectroSuite”.
    • Click the link to visit our server.
    • Use the credentials in our email to log in.
  • Set up the software:
I’ll be using WordPress (good for all skill levels):
  • Click on “User” near the top left next to “Admin”.
  • Set up your email.
    • Click the menu called “Email Manager”.
    • Select the submenu called “Email Accounts.
    • If you don’t see an email listed which you’d like to use, click “Create Account” and fill in the form. Click “Create Account” again. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
  • Install WordPress.
    • Click the menu called “Advanced Features”.
    • Select “WordPress Manager”.
    • Click “Install”, then click “Advanced Mode” on the popup.
    • Fill in the Title you’d like for your site and ensure the email is correct.
    • Fill in the user name and password you want to use to access WordPress. This is NOT the ElectroSuite login credentials!
    • Write these down, or you may have to repeat the install process!
    • Click “Create”.
  • Log in to WordPress.
    • There will be a notice saying “WordPress Installed”.
    • Take note of the Login URL. We suggest clicking it and adding the page to your web browser Favorites.
    • Go back to the WordPress Manager screen in your ElectroSuite admin console.
    • You’ll now see your site under “WordPress Installations”.
    • Click the three vertical dots to the right of the listing.
    • Select “Open WordPress Dashboard” from the popup.
    • If you forget, the default URL is https://yoursitename.com/wp-admin/
  • Now you can watch any WordPress tutorial you like or contact our web development team if you need assistance.
I’d like to try FTP (typically more advanced):
  • Keep in mind, FTP is generally for more experienced web developers.
  • Click on “User” near the top left next to “Admin”.
  • Click the menu called “System Info & Files”.
  • Select “File Manager”.
  • Go to MyFiles, domains, yoursitename.com, public_html
  • Edit the index .html file and make any other uploads needed.
